Treatment of colon cancer with the EN0920 nanodrug
Preclinical trials with the EN0920 nanodrug, composed of molecules extracted from Euphorbia lathyris and Nanometic nanoparticles used as a delivery vehicle, have shown a 62% reduction in tumour size, with a therapeutic range 15 times higher than the effective dose in tumour cells for the treatment of colon cancer.
Treatment of pancreatic cancer with Nano Olaparib
In vivo studies involving the administration of Nano Olaparib, composed of Olaparib and Nanometic nanoparticles used as a delivery vehicle, together with ascorbic acid, have demonstrated an increase in effectiveness from 20% to 70% compared with the administration of the free drug for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
Identification of Delistra seed molecules with antiproliferative activity against colon cancer
Research aimed at identifying the molecules responsible for the antiproliferative activity found in Delistra eggplant variety. The seeds of this variety have been shown to inhibit the growth of tumour cells in vitro and the development of colon polyps in research animals.
